Attorney Services – April 1st @ 10AM

Need some legal help? Call the office to schedule an appointment with attorney services for April 1st.


Tech Corner – April 2nd @ TBA

We are very excited to announce our inaugural “Tech Corner” in partnership with Chugiak High School! A group of students will be available to help you with basic tech issues with your phones, laptops, or other devices. Thank you, Chugiak Highschool!


Bingo Extravaganza! – April 14th & April 15th @ 1:30PM

Get ready for a fantastic afternoon of fun and games at either of our FREE Bingo event on March 10th hosted by the Eagle River Sleeping Lady Mountain Lions Club or by the Eagle River VFW on March 18th! Come out and enjoy great company, exciting prizes, and plenty of laughter.

Whether you’re a bingo pro or a first timer, everyone is welcome! Don’t miss out on the fun—mark your calendars and bring a friend!


AARP Tax Services – Wednesdays & Fridays from February 1st – April 12th from 10:00AM – 3:00PM

From February 1st-April 12th, AARP Tax Services is providing free tax help here in the Chugiak Senior Center every Wednesday and Saturday!

Just dial 2-1-1 and then leave your name and phone number. You will receive a call back to set up an appointment.


Thrift Store Shopping – April 18th @ 10:30AM

Thrift Store Shopping is BACK! Join CERSC as we head to town for our monthly thrift store run. Laughter and fun is always our main goal! We might also make a stop for ice cream, so you will want to sign up for this one!


Mobile Mammography – April 26th beginning @ 8:00AM

If you are a woman over 40 and due for your annual screen mammogram, give Providence Imaging Center a call at (907)-212-3151 to schedule this important 20-minute test. Please call to pre-register prior to your appointment.

Welcome to the Chugiak Senior Center’s December Newsletter! As we wrap up another wonderful year together, our campus is glowing with holiday cheer and the spirit of community. December is always a merry time at the Center, and this year promises to be especially bright.  We’re delighted to invite you to a month filled with celebration, creativity, and winter magic. Join us for our Winter Wonderland Tree Lighting Ceremony , where we’ll welcome the season with sparkling lights and joyful company at the Eagle River Town Square. For those feeling crafty, our Decorative Candle Holder Class offers a chance to create something festive for your home—or a handmade gift for someone special. And don’t forget to whip up your tastiest treats for our Holiday Baking Contest , a friendly and delicious way to spread sweetness through the season. With concerts, gatherings, and many more activities planned, we hope every member finds something that brings joy, comfort, and connection. Thank you for being part of our vibrant community. May this season fill your heart with warmth, gratitude, and the simple pleasures that make this time of year so meaningful. Welcome to November at Chugiak Senior Citizens Center! As we step into November, the season of gratitude and celebration is in full swing. This month brings wonderful opportunities for our members and friends to come together, share in the spirit of community, and enjoy all that this special time of year has to offer. Holiday Bazaar Get into the holiday spirit at our annual Holiday Bazaar on November 8th! Browse a variety of handmade crafts, festive décor, and unique gifts created by talented local vendors and community members. It’s the perfect way to start your holiday shopping and support those who make our community so special. Veterans Day On November 11, we proudly recognize and honor the veterans among us and throughout our nation. We are deeply grateful for their courage, sacrifice, and service. Please join us in extending our heartfelt appreciation to those who have served. Thanksgiving As Thanksgiving approaches, we are reminded of the many reasons to be thankful — our health, friendships, and the sense of belonging that makes Chugiak Senior Citizens Center such a warm and welcoming place. We wish everyone a safe, joyful, and heartwarming holiday filled with good company and good cheer.
